Doorbell Part

On 4/25/07, the filmmaker/technician Kamau sent to our house that I knew only as "Paul" [probably Paul Merryweather of Austin] showed me this item that was installed up in the top of our coat closet and told me it was some sort of an illegal device. He said he wasn't sure whether it was an illegal surveillance device of some kind or possibly an explosive device of some kind, and he took numerous photos of it with a camera he had with him and said he'd have Kamau and/or Greg Slate find out what it was and get back to us. [My children and I did not know that it was really part of our front doorbell and were very frightened by this.]
